Lenovo ThinkAgile VX systems are servers built and validated for VMware vSAN, delivered with VMware ESXi installed at the factory. They give you compute and storage in one cluster, managed from the VMware tools your team already knows.

ThinkAgile VX is Lenovo's range of hyper-converged systems for VMware vSAN. Each system is based on a Lenovo ThinkSystem server, integrated and validated at the factory with firmware at supported levels.
Several VX systems form a vSAN cluster that runs your virtual machines and storage together, with no separate SAN to buy and manage.

The current range is built on Lenovo ThinkSystem V4 (Intel Xeon 6) and V3 (AMD EPYC 9000) servers.

ThinkAgile VX is Lenovo's range of hyper-converged systems for VMware vSAN, delivered with VMware ESXi installed at the factory.
No. VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) or VMware vSphere Foundation (VVF) licences are bought separately from a Broadcom seller.
With VVF, a cluster can have 3 to 64 hosts, and 2-node clusters with a witness are supported for branch offices. VCF needs at least 4 nodes for its management domain.
They use different software. HX runs Nutanix, MX runs Microsoft Azure Local, and VX runs VMware vSAN.
