Under the hood, the SE455 V3 runs on AMD’s latest EPYC 8004 Series processors, optimised for performance per watt. Choose up to 64 cores, top speeds of 3.1GHz, and up to 225W TDP. This makes it ideal for virtualised IT workloads and AI tasks such as video analytics and NLP, with support for up to six GPUs or AMD Alveo V70 accelerators.
Fast, Flexible Storage Where It Counts
With support for up to 8 NVMe SSDs (with full PCIe lane allocation), plus 2x M.2 OS boot drives and optional hardware RAID, the SE455 V3 can be tuned for low-latency, high-throughput tasks. Storage options range from 61TB in SATA to nearly 500TB using 8x 61TB NVMe drives—perfect for edge video capture or large AI models.
Designed for Security Outside the Data Centre
Data at the edge is vulnerable. Lenovo responds with a layered security approach: self-encrypting drives, TPM 2.0 support, Secure Boot, and AMD Infinity Guard features like Secure Encrypted Virtualisation. Optional Lockdown Mode ensures only authorised users can interact with the system, even if tampered with.

The built-in Lenovo XClarity Controller 2 (XCC2) delivers advanced remote management, and you can upgrade to XCC Platinum for full KVM support, remote media mounting, and enhanced security. Local diagnostics via mobile apps or external handsets make on-the-ground support easier, too.
